AI Runtime Security & Governance

Kavrent / ARIA

AI runtime security and governance technology designed to help organizations detect suspicious AI interactions, evaluate security policies, support enforcement, and preserve auditable security evidence.

Development status: Working Prototype — Validation in ProgressWorking name · pending trademark clearance

Overview

Runtime security with evidence built in.

Kavrent evolved from the ARIA Runtime Guardrails project. It is designed to sit alongside AI applications and agents, observe their interactions at runtime, and apply security policy to what it sees.

The goal is accountability: when an AI system receives an instruction, touches sensitive data or attempts an action, an organization should be able to see it, judge it against policy, act where appropriate, and later prove what happened.

Kavrent is a working product name pending trademark clearance.

01 — AI INPUT & INTERACTION

AI input and interaction

Prompts, retrieved content, model responses and agent tool calls are the points where AI behavior can be observed. Kavrent is designed to capture these interactions as they happen.

Capabilities

What Kavrent is designed to do

01

Detect suspicious interactions

Inspect prompts, retrieved content and responses for signals such as prompt-injection attempts and sensitive-data exposure.

02

Evaluate security policy

Assess each interaction against organization-defined policies and produce an explicit, recorded decision.

03

Support enforcement

Pass policy outcomes to integration points that can act on them — enforcement applies only where it has been validated.

04

Preserve auditable evidence

Record security events with the context needed for review, investigation and governance reporting.

Development status

Working Prototype — Validation in Progress

ARIA has documented prototype functionality covering sensitive-data detection, prompt-injection defense, policy evaluation and security-event recording. End-to-end enforcement and production performance have not yet been independently verified, and no detection-accuracy figures are published.

Status labels are provisional and subject to final founder verification.

Documented prototype functionality

  • Sensitive-data detection
  • Prompt-injection defense
  • Policy evaluation
  • Security-event recording

Not yet independently verified

  • End-to-end enforcement
  • Production performance
  • Detection accuracy (no figures published)

Who Kavrent is designed for

  • AI SaaS products that need runtime guardrails before enterprise customers will adopt them
  • Security teams responsible for AI agents with access to tools and data
  • Governance and risk functions that need evidence of how AI decisions were controlled
